Security & GDPR
Your salon’s security is our priority
Your client database and calendar are the heart of your business. We built booksero to protect the results of your work — so you don’t have to think about it every day.
Client records and calendar under double protection
Many systems police access in the application only. We went one level deeper — into the database itself — and kept that other layer too.
- Two layers instead of oneSeparation between businesses is enforced in the application and in the database at the same time. Even if an application query were wrong, the database refuses to hand over a row belonging to another business.
- What the database layer coversClient records with their notes, files and history, plus appointments, work schedules and service catalogues. The data you work with every day and would hate most to lose.
- Your business stays your businessYour calendar and your clients’ phone numbers are visible to you and to the people you grant access to. A salon down the street using booksero has no way in.
GDPR without the headache
Running a salon is enough work already. You don’t need to become a data-protection lawyer on top of it — we did part of that job for you.
- A processing agreement ready to signAs the controller of your clients’ data you need a processing agreement with your software provider. Ours is public and available right away — no need to ask or wait.
- You decide who sees whatFour roles and 56 permissions govern access across your team. Reception can book appointments without seeing takings or a colleague’s commission.
- Encrypted connection and keysEverything you type — from a client’s name to a treatment note — travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the same as in online banking. The keys to your payments and your Google calendar are stored encrypted on top of that.

Your calendar doesn’t vanish with your phone
A lost paper diary or coffee spilled over the reception desk is a disaster on paper. Not here. The system is available around the clock, and your data is copied across several independent layers.
- Your data lives in the cloud, not on your computerIf your hardware gives up, you sign in on another device and your calendar is waiting exactly where you left it.
- A copy of the whole database every nightCreated daily and stored with an independent provider, away from the application server. We keep those copies for 60 days.
- Rewind to any moment in the last 7 daysA second, independent layer. Not just "yesterday’s state", but the exact hour before the mistake.
- Verified, not merely savedEvery copy checks itself before it is stored — and a failed attempt raises an alarm instead of quietly pretending to succeed. We have rehearsed a full restore and repeat that drill every quarter.
